To find clips of you

TL;DR

Clips You're In is a Medal feature that automatically tags you in any clip your teammates or opponents save during a match. Link your Riot, Epic, or Steam account once, then every clip from every player you encounter shows up in your feed: kills from the enemy POV, clutch rounds your teammates saved, and moments you forgot. Free.

How to find Clips You're In

1

Download Medal for free

Install Medal on PC. Setup is under 2 minutes and Medal works on any GPU (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel). No credit card, no watermarks.

2

Link your game accounts

Open Settings → Connections and link Riot, Epic, Steam, or any other game accounts. This is how Medal matches you to a lobby. Link once and you are set forever.

3

Play your usual games

Play normally. When any other Medal user in your match saves a clip, the lobby data identifies every player and tags everyone automatically. No friend requests, no manual tagging.

4

Open your Clips You're In feed

In the Medal app, click Albums on the left sidebar, then the Clips You're In tab. Every clip that features you collects there - kills from the enemy POV, teammate clutch saves, even funny moments.

Where the Clips You're In tab lives

In the Medal Windows app, click Albums on the left sidebar. The Clips You Are In tab sits under Your Highlights, alongside Liked, Favorites, and Recently Deleted.

Four things you get out of the box, with no setup beyond linking your accounts.

Automatic detection

No manual tagging. Medal matches lobby data to your linked accounts and tags you the second the clip is saved.

Centralized feed

Every clip you appear in collects under one tab. CS2, Valorant, Fortnite, and any other supported game in a single feed.

Notifications

Get pinged when a new clip featuring you is added so you never miss a moment your teammates saved.

Privacy controls

Remove yourself from any clip with one click. The tag goes away even though the clip itself stays with the creator.

Why you're probably already in clips you've never seen

Medal has 15M+ active users. Every CS2 match has 10 players, every Valorant match has 10, every Fortnite squad lobby has up to 100. The math is simple: if even one person in your last few games is on Medal, there is a real chance a clip exists with you in it. Most players never know because the clip lives on the recorder's account, not theirs. Clips You're In closes that gap by collecting every tagged clip in one feed.

Best for CS2, Valorant, and squad games

Clips You're In works strongest in lobby-based PC games where the same group of players are in a single match together. CS2, Valorant, League of Legends, and R6 Siege have the highest tag rates because the lobbies are small and consistent. Battle royales like Fortnite and Apex work too. Anyone in your lobby can tag you. 100+ games are supported overall.

The full feed: kills, deaths, clutches, and fails

Your Clips You're In feed shows every clip from a match you were in, not just highlight moments. Eliminations from the enemy's POV. Multi-kills your teammate clipped. Clutch rounds someone in the lobby saved. Funny fails and bad beats. Anything anyone clipped while you were in that game. The feed is sorted newest first, with the game and the player who clipped it shown on every card. Tap any clip to watch, comment, or share.

Save, react, and share clips of yourself

Once a clip shows up in your feed, you can react with an emoji, repost it to your own profile, or grab the link and share to Discord, TikTok, X, or Reddit. Medal generates instant share links that embed natively, so your friends can watch without downloading the file. Want to keep a copy? Hit the menu and choose Download. Full quality, no compression.

Privacy controls: opt out of being tagged

You stay in control. To remove yourself from a clip, head to Profile → Tagged, right-click the clip (or click the ellipsis), and choose Remove Tag. The clip stays with whoever recorded it but no longer appears in your feed or under your profile. You can also disable tagging entirely under Settings → Privacy if you want to keep your matches private.

Supported games

Clips You're In works across every PC game Medal records. Strongest in lobby-based shooters and squad games.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does Medal know I'm in a clip?

When you link your game accounts (Riot, Epic, Steam, and others) to Medal, Medal can identify your in-game username. Every time another Medal user in your match saves a clip, Medal checks the lobby data for that match and tags every player who was there. No manual tagging, no friend request required.

Which games support Clips You're In?

Clips You're In works best in lobby-based PC games where the same group of players are in a single match together. CS2, Valorant, League of Legends, Fortnite, Apex, R6 Siege, and Overwatch are the strongest. 100+ games are supported overall.

Do I need an account to find clips I'm in?

Yes. Create a free Medal account, link your game accounts under Settings → Connections, and the Clips You're In feed populates automatically. Sign up takes about 30 seconds. Get Medal here.

Can I turn off being tagged in other people's clips?

Yes. Medal includes privacy controls so you can untag yourself from any clip. Open Profile → Tagged, right-click the clip (or click the ellipsis), and choose Remove Tag. The clip stays with the original creator but no longer shows up in your feed or under your profile. Full instructions on the Medal support site.

Are clips of me public on Medal?

The clip belongs to whoever created it, and its visibility is set by them. If your teammate posted a public clip and you appear in it, that clip is public. If they posted it privately, only the people they share it with can see it. Either way, you can Remove Tag at any time so the clip no longer associates with your profile. See Medal's feature overview for details.

Can I download or save clips that friends made of me?

Yes. Open any clip from your Clips You're In feed, hit the menu, and choose Download. You can also share the link directly to Discord, TikTok, X, or Reddit. Medal generates instant share links that embed natively without re-uploading. Install Medal to start.

Why am I not showing up in friends' clips?

Two common reasons: (1) your game accounts are not yet linked under Settings → Connections. Medal needs your Riot, Epic, or Steam username to match you to lobbies. (2) The friend who recorded the clip is not using Medal. Only Medal-recorded clips are auto-tagged. Once both sides are using Medal and your accounts are linked, tags appear within seconds of a clip being saved.

Is Medal free?

Yes. Medal is free to download and Clips You're In is part of the free tier. Download Medal, link your game accounts, and the feed populates automatically. Optional Premium adds extra cloud storage and longer recording, but everything in this guide works on the free plan.
