Automatic event detection and clipping

Forgot or too busy to clip that play? With Medal’s auto clipping and game event detection, your best moments are captured automatically, with no need to press a hotkey or manually record.

How does auto clipping work?

Simply tell Medal which events to clip from your favorite games like Fortnite, League of Legends, Rocket League, and more. Medal will clip them for you the instant they happen: a victory, a goal, or an ace, and many more game-specific options, Medal detects these in-game triggers and saves the highlight for you. You can customize which events to record so you capture only the clips you want.

Is there auto-clipping for all games?

You can view all currently supported games and which events are triggers for them on this page, or in the Medal app under Settings > Auto Clipping. FiveM server owners can easily set up any custom events for their servers using the auto-clipping framework. New games are added regularly, and you can suggest games you’d like auto clipping support for on our Feedback forum.
